KARACHI: The residents of Baluchistan’s Lasbela district on Monday held a protest demonstration outside Karachi Press Club (KPC) against National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) for not providing CNICs.

The protest was led by Awami National Party (ANP) Lasbela district president Syed Abdul Baqi. Speaking on the occasion, Baqi asserted that the authorities did not recognize them as citizens of Pakistan even they are settled there since generations. He alleged that the institution had even issued Identity cards to terrorists but was reluctant to provide the same.

Shah Wali Khan and Younus Bunery also addressed the protesters.
