HYDERABAD: The Law-Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) personnel on Friday claimed to have foiled a terror bid in Hyderabad and arrested five militants allegedly working for banned organisation.

On a tip-off, the LEAs raided a house near Hatai bypass and apprehended five members of a banned terrorist organization, who were planning to attack in the city.

The LEAs also recovered three bombs containing 15 kilograms of explosive material from their possession.

Later, the bombs were defused by the bomb disposal squad.

The arrested suspects were shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.
