KARACHI: Abdul Basit Mundia – a prominent businessman & social worker, who is heading “Voice of Karachi”, a public organisation working for the city – grieved regarding the current situation of most government schools which are in operation.
During a visit to a government school in Lyari, Mundia expressed his feelings for these less advantaged schools, where under privileged locality children are
studying, who deserve better environment at school compared to the dismal situation in which they are studying today. Despite the fact that local government is working for improvement, understanding the need for work on a larger scale involving urgent public support is also must.
coming forward to join hands in this noble cause, as education plays a vital role. Mundia is also the president of Rotray Club Karachi South & currently has taken
responsibility of a few schools located in underprivileged areas of Karachi & interior Sindh.
