KHUZDAR: Levies Force, Khuzdar claimed to have arrested five alleged dacoits allegedly accused of stealing large quantity of items from D-Baloch Company and a company of Goni Garesa Irrigation Dam Project, Nal in an operation conducted in Tehsil Nal of district Khuzdar in Balochistan province on Saturday. Two abettors of dacoits were also arrested during the operation
Addressing a press conference at levies station, Nal, Assistant Commissioner, Nal, Muneer Ahmed Soomro said that in compliance with the directives of Deputy Commissioner, Khuzdar, Abdul Quddus Achakzai, levies force, Nal under the supervision of Tehsildar Nal, Abdul Majeed Khadrani and Naib Tehsildar Gareesha, Allah Dad Dohani arrested five dacoits along with their two abettors allegedly accused of stealing items from D-Company, working on the construction of N-25 highway, and a company, working in Goni Garesha Irrigation Dam Project, in an operation conducted in Nal area of District Khuzdar. He added that large quantity of stolen materials were recovered from the possession of alleged dacoits.
He said that the alleged accused namely Rashid son of Aamir Bakhsh, Mehrullah son of Muhammad Raza, resident of Khuzdar, Ashraf son of Muhammad Anwar, resident of Nal, Abdul Khaliq’s son of Abdullah, resident of Nal and Manzoor son of Abdul Hameed, resident of Seven Marla, Khuzdar with connivance of Security Guard, D-Company and Watchman of Irrigation Project, Nal would steal items from D-company and Goni Garesha Irrigation Dam Project. He added that large quantity of stolen items, including cement, steel, wires, cables and transformers, were recovered from the possession of alleged accused during the operation. He said that the First Information Report against the alleged accused had been lodged at Levies Station, Nal.
