LARKANA: A young man was gunned down within the limits of Waleed Police Station in the city on Monday.
The victim was identified as Raashid Shaikh, a resident of Lakhi Ghulam Shah, Shikarpur district. Waleed police arrested two accused Ghulam Fareed Shaikh and Bilawal Mahar along with weapons. The arrested accused told police that Raashid had kidnapped their girl, Saima Shaikh, and such FIR was also registered against him in Lakhi Ghulam Shah police station.
Waleed police said that the deceased wanted to marry the girl using free will through court but he was followed by the relatives of the girl who killed him before wedding. Police said that the FIR will be registered against the accused on arrival of the heirs of the killed man.
