Karachi: Provincial Minister for Education and Literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar while taking serious notice of early recovery of June and July tuition fees by private schools, has asked Director General Private Institutions to intervene into the matter and resolve it promptly.
Talking to DG Private Institutions Dr. Mansoob Siddiqui, he said that it had come into his notice that private schools had started recovery of summer vacations fees in advance and parents were facing problems in this regard.
Dr. Mansoob Siddiqui informed the minister that private schools might collect June / July fees before commencement of the summer vacations but they must consider the problems of the parents as well.
He said however private schools are entitled to collect tuition fees till March from the students who are appearing in matric exams this year.
Mehtab assured the parents and the students that his department would keep their interest as top priority and also asked the management of private schools to provide relief to the parents.
