ISLAMABAD: Senior journalist Mohsin Baig, who was booked by Margallah police station in Islamabad on terrorism charges, filed a bail application in an anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Monday.

The court will begin hearing Baig’s petition tomorrow (Tuesday, March 1, 2022). The journalist has already been granted bail in unlicensed arms case. The law-enforcement agencies had taken Beg into custody following a raid on his home in Islamabad around a fortnight ago on the complaint of Federal Minister Murad Saeed who had accused him of maligning him during a live TV show by giving the reference of a book authored by Prime Minister Imran Khan’s ex-wife Reham Khan.
