Peshawar: Shifa Foundation Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Healthcare Commission (KPHCC)yesterday signeda Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to build the capacity of KPHCC field staff on medical service delivery standards and their implementation across the province.

The MoU was signed by Chief Executive Officer KPHCC Mr. Azar Sardar and Member BoGShifa Foundation Mr. Taimoor Shah,flanked by Director Operations HCC Mr. Arsalan Ahmad and other high officials of KPHCC and Shifa Foundation.

“It is very important for the field officers of KPHCC to be well-trained and that the service provided by the labs and other health facilities must be according to the internationally accepted standards of healthcare”, Mr. Sardar commented.

Under this program, around 45 field officers will get trained from the opportunity and the quality and standard of the private clinics and health facilities will improve through this agreement, he further added.

Speaking on the occasion, Member BoG Shifa Foundation, Mr. Taimoor Shah said that Shifa Foundation, being a member of Shifa Family, shares a strong commitment to provide the best service delivery to patients all across Pakistan and this MoU is a great step towards realizing this dream in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
