Mysterious disease hits labourer’s two sons

LARKANA: Two sons of a labourer are suffering from mysterious disease due to which neither they can walk nor can they talk while his third son 15-year Majid Ali has expired who was also suffering from same ailment.

He feared that both boys might have been affected by polio. He appealed to philanthropists to help him provide treatment to his sons to save their precious lives. Manthar Ali Junejo, resident of village Vikro near Moenjo Daro, working on a brick-making factory told reporters here on Sunday that his 18-year son Mohammad Sachal and 13-year Aqib Ali were suffering from unknown disease since birth. He said their mother tried her best to use local methods after their birth but failed and since then they were running from pillar to post to get them well.

The labourer said he took them to different doctors in Larkana but all advised that their treatment facility was not available in Pakistan; hence, he should take them abroad for required medical facilities for which an expenditure of Rs 4 to 5 million was required which he could not afford at all. He said that both his sons were now young and were fed by their mother or sisters. He appealed to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to get them treated at government expenses in foreign.
