Nation salutes struggle of Kashmiris


Lahore: The Pakistani nation salutes the freedom struggle of the Kashmiris and assures them of its full support till they were successful in throwing out the yoke of slavery, acting Ameer of the Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, said here on Thursday.

He was speaking at a high level consultative meeting of the party at Mansoora held to review the prevailing situation in the valley.

While deploring the silence of the Pakistani rulers on the brutalities of the Indian occupation forces in Kashmir, the JI acting chief urged the world community to attend to the Kashmir issue in order to save the region from a horrible war.

Liaqat Baloch said that the Kashmir issue could be resolved only through plebiscite. He said the sacrifices of the Kashmiris won’t go waste. He said the Kashmiris were fighting the war of the completion of the Pakistan because Pakistan was incomplete without Kashmir.

He stressed upon the Pakistan government to extend full support to the Kashmiris struggle. He said that a high level delegation should be sent to the UN, the US, Russia, Britain and China to apprise their governments and people of the brutalities of Indian forces in Held Kashmir. Pakistan should also call an emergent meeting of the OIC and arrange a joint delegation of the Muslim countries to call for an end to the human rights violations in Held Kashmir. The Human rights bodies should also be approached in its respect.

Liaqat Baloch said that the third generation of the Kashmiris had risen against Indian occupation and the martyrdom of Burhan Wani and Shahzar Butt had given a new life to their movement. The resistance of Kashmiri students- both boys and girls had unnerved the occupation troops. The Indian troops were burning the mosques, schools, orchards and crops of the Kashmiris and they were not allowed to offer prayer and the funeral prayers of their martyrs.
