QUETTA: Those serving as scouts are of great characters and like candle who by sacrificing minimize difficulties of others.

This was stated by National Chief Commissioner Pakistan Boy Scouts Association and Speaker Balochistan assembly Ms Rahila Durrani while opening tree plantation and Chief Commissioner office Boy Scouts here Friday.

Additional Secretary Mohammad Tayyab Lehri, Additional Director Schools Muneer Ahmed Notezai, provincial Commissioner Boy Scouts Abdul Qayyum Babai and others also spoke.

Rahila Durrani said that whether it is war or other natural calamities or incidents, Scouts services bring relief in the difficulties of humanity.

She said Quaid e Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah patronized Scouts. We are also thankful to President Mamnoon Hussain who held a ceremony for scouts form all the four provinces and distributed gold medals and certificates for those showing excellent performance and encouraged them.

She said role of scouts during present age cannot be ignored. We would raise voice for resolving problems of scouts at every forum. She said being National Chief she visited boy scouts in all the four provinces and raised voice at the provincial, national and international level over problems confronting Scouting. She has also requested for promotion of scouting in Pakistan at the international level.

National Chief Commissioner said being Speaker Balochistan Assembly becoming Chief of Boy scouts was honour for her. She would do her level best to serve best in these sectors.

She said we should play our role for development and integrity of the country rising above personal interest.
