GARHI KHERO: A man was killed and another held hostage at gunpoint over a land dispute in village Meeran Buledi near Garhi Khero on Sunday.
According to police, two groups of Buledi community exchanged fire over the land dispute in village Meeran Buledi near Garhi Khero. As a result, Dil Murad Buledi was killed while Mir Hasan Buledi was held hostage.
Meeranpur police rushed to the scene, shifted the body to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to the heirs. Panic gripped the area soon after the incident. Police have started an investigation into the incident. No arrest could be reported till filing this report.
