CHAMAN: Pak Afghan border at Chaman remained close on 31 st Day Sunday. All sorts of trade activities and on foot movement at the border were also suspended while 3G and 4G services were suspended for 24 days.

A shutter down was observed on call of All Parties Tajir Ittehad. All the important commercial centres, bazaars, shops remained close. Medical stores, tanoors, hotels were also closed in suburban areas. It caused great difficulties to the patients and passengers.

All Parties Tajir Ittehad Spokesperson Nazeer Achakzai asked Pak-Afghan governments to resolve border issues with mutual talks. He said businessmen were suffering billions of Rupees losses due to closure of border between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Border should be opened for promotion of brotherly relations between Pak and Afghan people. He said hostile forces were taking benefit of Pak-Afghan tension. He said there is no justification for closure of legal trade along Pak-Afghan border. Stoves of 1.1 million people of Chaman have cool down due to suspension of business along the border.

He warned that after today’s shutter down we would also announce wheel Jam strike and protest demonstrations soon.
