Pakistan harvesting bitter fruits of alien war: Huda

Karachi: We fought a foreign war and sacrifices 70000 precious lives in it, but the country for which we waged this war is threatening and disgracing us, said Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sindh chapter president Dr Merajul Huda Siddiqui here Wednesday.

He said the threat and demand of do more by US President Trump is the textbook example of thanklessness. He said whole nation is united for the defence of the country. He said the so-called war on terror was neither our war in past and it is not our war now. He said this war was slapped on Pakistan due to a wrong decision of military dictator.

Dr Huda said the CPEC has irked India and the US because these countries do not like a developed and prosperous Pakistan and they are hatching conspiracies against it. He said the recent threats of the US president are also related to these conspiracies.

He said Pakistan is harvesting the bitter fruits of its blind support to an alien war. He said the Pakistani nation is united to defend itself and foil these conspiracies. He asked the government to redirect its policies, reminding it that the USA has always betrayed Pakistan and Pakistanis and they would never acknowledge and value the sacrifices rendered by the Pakistani nation.
