KARACHI: Three manufacturing companies from Pakistan – Aftab Sons Writing Instrument, Indus Pencil and Wamiq Enterprises – showcased their products office supplies, stationeries, painting colors and other equipments at the Paperworld fair that began from Jan 27, 2018 in Frankfurt.
Around 34,500 visitors at the event made their way to Frankfurt to attend the fair. It is the international meeting place for trade & industry and distinguished by a huge horizontal and vertical range of products from office & school articles via gifts & printer accessories to exclusive stationery products & writing & drawing utensils for private and business use.
The 1,632 companies from 66 countries made presentations at Paperworld, the leading international trade fair in Frankfurt. Among the exhibitors from outside Germany, demand is particularly high from European and Asian states. “So far, the fair is good for us as per last year and many trade buyers visited Pakistan Pavilion stands,” said Naeem Akhter, Chairman of writing Instruments Association.
“We got new inquires this year and we hope we will get good response as well,” said Tahir Malik from Wamiq Enterprises. Over the years, it has become evident that companies need to find new markets for their products’ high level of internationality. Paperworld is particularly good platform for this.
