Patients at stake as young doctors continue boycott

QUETTA:Boycott of young doctors and paramedics from OPDs of government run hospitals across the province continued on Tuesday for the fifth consecutive day, causing hardships to the poor patients.

According to detail, OPDs boycott in government healthcare facilities across the province continued for the fifth day by young doctors and paramedical staff. Young doctors and paramedical staff are demanding from the authorities to stop privatization of government hospitals, operationalize the dysfunctional Operation Theatres of the hospitals and provide facilities, including medicines and MRI, to the healthcare facilities of the province.

Leaders of Young Doctors Association and Paramedical Staff Association, Balochistan were of the view that if their demands were not entertained, their protest would continue.
