PCG seizes narcotics worth millions

SINDH: Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) on Friday claimed to have seized 40-kilogram hashish from coastal area of Sindh.

According to the spokesman PCG, receiving information that an attempt to be made to smuggle high quality hashish, the Director General (DG) PCG Sajjad Sikandar Ranjha directed the officers concerned to enhance checking and patrolling in their respective jurisdictions.

A PCG team stopped three specious motorbikes on Chohar Jamali Road, but the bikers tried to flee on which the official opened fire and injuring one accused, and arrested them.

The PCG team recovered 40 kilograms of high quality hashish from their possession and started further investigation.
