PIA scouts’ week-long ceremonies conclude in Karachi

KARACHI: PIA Boy Scouts Sindh’s week-long celebrations entitled “Hamara Quaid” concluded at its office in Karachi amid wonderful atmosphere. The opening ceremony was held at PIA Township, where scouts leader Syed Javed Raza was the program organizer. Various competitions of national songs, speeches, tableaus and paintings were among the programs that fascinated the audience.

Shaheen, boy, rovers and girl scouts participated in the competitions and clinches positions. Provincial Secretary Sindh Boy Scouts Syed Akhtar Meer and Pakistan Boy Scouts Deputy Director Usman Pasha, along with a 100-member delegation, joined the closing ceremony.

PIA Scouts leaders Amin Dar and Shamas Khan welcomed the delegation at the provincial headquarters. PIA scouts officials Syed Mehboob Qadri, Aslam Tariq and former provincial commissioner Shoaib Khan welcomed the guests and briefed them about PIA scouts’ activities. They also presented the PIA Scouts’ souvenir to the delegation leader.
