ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday telephoned Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Unite Arab Emirates (UAE) Armed Forces, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and condemned the heinous terrorist attack by Houthi militia on civil facilities in the UAE on January 17.
According to a press release, the Prime Minister affirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with the UAE and rejection of any threat to its security and sovereignty. He also offered his condolences for the victims of these attacks and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.
He underlined that such attacks cannot be justified and stressed on immediate cessation of these attacks, which continue to pose grave threat to regional peace and security. The Crown Prince thanked the Prime Minister for the strong expression of support, and also offered condolence on the sad demise of a Pakistani national who died in the tragic incident.
