Karak: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi says the present government has succeeded in overcoming shortage of electricity and gas in the country.
Addressing a function after inaugurating Nashpa Oil and Gas Processing and LPG Recovery Plant in Karak on Thursday, he said the country is now producing surplus electricity,
He said load shedding is being carried only in those areas where the electricity is stolen.
The Prime Minister said the IMF in its recent report has acknowledged Pakistan’s achievements in overcoming energy crisis in the country.
He said that Nashpa Oil and Gas Processing was pending since 2009 and credit goes to the present government which completed it.
He said the present government has completed development schemes all over the country.
