PM: (Power projects being completed to meet future needs: PM)

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that government has completed power projects keeping in view of the future needs of the country.

He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of new international terminal of Sialkot airport on Monday. The Prime Minister said that it is the first government which not only conceived projects but also completed them.

He said power projects of ten thousand megawatts have been completed and we have not only added electricity but also brought efficiency to it.

He said the reduced power tariff will also cut the industrial input cost. He said as a result of concrete steps, the gas is also available to the domestic and industrial consumers today in the country.

He further said the results of the government’s performance are visible to all. He described the construction of the terminal by the private sector as a milestone saying the government will also support the business community of Faisalabad in completion of such a project.

He said two hundred billion rupees are being spent on different projects in Sialkot.
