KARACHI:After the decision of Accountability Court against former Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif in Avenfield House flat case on Friday, a large number of the activists of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Sindh chapter held a protest demonstration outside the Karachi Press Club (KPC) against the verdict.
A large number of workers to PML-N Karachi division reached the KPC and registered their protest. The protesters carrying banners, placards and portraits of Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif chanted slogans against the decision
The demo was led by PML-N Sindh information secretary Khawaj Tariq Aziz, who termed the decision a political revenge. He said that outcomes of political decisions made by courts would not be better for country. The activists of PML-N and people of country do not accept such decisions, he said
He said political vendetta will make the PML-N stronger and more powerful. He said all PML-N activists s stands shoulder by shoulder with Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif.
A heavy contingency of Sindh police rushed to the KPC; however, the protestors dispersed peacefully.
