KARACHI: Police on Monday claimed to have arrested three suspects after encounters in the metropolis.
According to police sources, a police team apprehended two armed robbers, Mohammad Asif alias Khani, son of Mohammad Iqbal, and Ubaidullah alias Chotu, son of Abdul Rehman, in injured condition after the exchange of the fire in Lyari’s Baghdadi area. The police said that the accused were wanted to police in four criminals cases.
The police also claimed to have recovered two TT pistols with rounds and drugs from their possession. The injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment.
Separately, a police team arrested a robber, Jalaluddin, in injured condition after encounter in Sharifabad area.
He was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for treatment.
