KARACHI: Police claimed to have recovered a newborn baby girl and arrested two women, allegedly involved in her kidnapping in the wee hours of Wednesday.
According to SSP South Javed Akbar Riaz, The newborn daughter of Naveed Akhtar had been kidnapped from the gynaecology ward of the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center Karachi. After the incident police conducted an operation on Jinnah Hospital administration report during which two kidnappers, Naheed wife of Zahid and Amna, wife of Mohammad Saleem, were arrested.
Police also recovered the abducted baby girl from them.
Police handed over the baby girl to her parents and sent the kidnappers to women police station for further investigation.
