Police nab two drug peddlers, recover 10kg opium

KARACHI: Excise Police Mirpurkhas on Tuesday claimed to have recovered 10 kilograms of opium from the possession of two accused Abdul Rahim Brohi and Mohammad Farooq Brohi, residents of Shahdadpur, district Sanghar near Bacha Bund Umerkot and impounded Corolla car bearing No. AGN 860.

The raid was led by District Intelligence officer Abdul Jabbar Gharano. A case has been registered against the two arrested accused and investigations was underway.

Minister for Excise and Taxation & Narcotics Mukesh Kumar Chawla in a statement has lauded the performance of the excise police team and hoped that they would continue its efforts against drug peddlers.
