ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain says terrorists and their mentors will not be allowed to impede peace and progress of the country.
Addressing the first convocation of Sindh Madrassatul Islam University in Karachi on Saturday, he said terrorists will be driven out of their sanctuaries and brought to justice at all costs.
The President said the sacrifices of those who laid down their lives for the cause of peace in the country will never be allowed to go waste. He said Pakistan’s enemies are trying to disrupt our peace and progress but their nefarious designs will be thwarted with national unity and cohesion.
He said China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project is being executed with full pace to realize the dream of equal prosperity of all the regions of Pakistan. He said it is a matter of satisfaction that many world nations have evinced keen interest in joining the CPEC.
He hoped that the corridor would proved to be game changer for not only Pakistan but the whole region and beyond. He urged the youth to acquire modern knowledge to meet future challanges.
Governor Sindh Mohammad Zubair, Vice Chancellor Sindh Madarsatul Islam Prof. Mohammad Ali Shaikh also spoke on the occasion.
