Pressure mounted to roll back 18th amendment: Khuhro

March 19, 2019

LARKANA:Fake accounts and money laundering cases are a conspiracy to weaken PPP. Shifting of PPP leadership cases to Rawalpindi proves that accountability is selected to target the PPP for which activists should be prepared for struggle.

This was stated by Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, President, PPP, Sindh, while addressing a condolence meeting held at Arts Council here on Tuesday to mark the first death anniversary of Ayaz Soomro.

Khuhro said selected prime minister’s selected accountability policy was underway in the country and the federal government was only busy in defaming the opposition.

He claimed that there were no evidences in money laundering and fake account cases which was why court sent back reference to NAB for want of non-availability of record.

Khuhro said: “Pressure is mounted on PPP to roll back 18th amendment, but we will defend it at every corner. We will continue our struggle for supremacy of parliament and constitution under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.”

Khuhro said: “Those who are talking of change in Sindh should take care of their central government which is running on seven borrowed seats and termed federal government as B team of dictator Musharraf.”

He said the Sindh government would continue to raise its voice at CCI and other forums for seeking rights of Sindh including proper water and financial share. Nisar Khuhro, MNA Khurshid Junejo and others paid rich tribute to late Muhammad Ayaz Soomro.
