KARACHI: Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) has established six mobile dispensaries in the premises of National Stadium Karachi to cater any eventuality or emergency during Pakistan Super League (PSL) final math scheduled on March 25, 2018.
Two doctors and two nurses would be deputed in each mobile dispensary on March 25, 2018. The availability life-saving drugs, equipment and other facilities would also be ensured to cover any eventuality.
Control rooms will also being established to monitor the situation and coordinate with stakeholders during the PSL final match day.
Focal Person of Sindh Health Department & Executive Director, Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) Dr Seemin Jamali , while talking to PPI, said six mobile dispensaries have been set up at National Stadium and these dispensaries would be made operational from March 24, 2018.
She informed that Aman Foundation Ambulances would be stationed outside the gates of stadium.
She further informed that Edhi and Chhippa ambulances would also be parked near the designated parking sites for public to avoid any untoward situation.
She said Secretary Health Sindh and ED JPMC (her) have been deputed as focal persons from Sindh Health Department to coordinator others departments.
She said all necessary arrangements have been made on the directives of high-ups of Sindh health department to cater any possible eventuality/emergency during PSL final match.
Dr Seemin Jamali said six temporary healthcare facilities would also be established in two local hotels of Karachi where doctors and nurses posted from March 23, 2018 during stay of foreign and local cricketers.
