PTI demands arrest of child molesters in Sindh

KARACHI: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) sindh chapter on Saturday demanded of the provincial government to arrest the culprits involved in raping children.

Addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press Club (KPC) here on Saturday, PTI Sindh senior executive vice president Haleem Adil Sheikh said that Ibrahim Haidery people local MPA and others had overpowered a watchman of a private school who allegedly involved in sexually assaulting a girl in Ibrahim Haidery.

He said the mob outside the school wanted to burn him alive but the police was not ready to shift him to the police station. Haleem said he on humanitarian grounds, he saved the life of the watchman and got him shifted to the police station in police van but his opponents presented this in a negative way.

The PTI leader said that in Karachi, five such cases had been reported during the last week but the local police had failed to arrest any of the accused. He demanded of the government to arrest them and bring them to justice at the earliest.

He reminded that last year in Ibrahim Haidery, a minor girl Saweera was also molested after kidnapping and the molesters threw her at an abandoned place in seriously injured condition.

He said that the rulers of Sindh had failed to deliver and were unable to serve the masses and when his party raised the voice for the rights of the people, it was also criticized.

On the occasion, MPA Khuram Sherzaman, Jameel Ahmed Khan, Jay Parkash Ukrani, Jameela Baloch and others leaders were also present.
