KARACHI: The Spokesperson to Punjab Government, Hassan Khawar, paid a visit to residence of leader of the opposition in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh.

According to a statement on Friday, Haleem Adil Sheikh welcomed Hassan Khawar and presented tradition gift of Sindhi Cap and Ajrak to the distinguished guest. Both the leaders discussed current political situation of the country and matter of mutual interest in the meeting.

Spokesperson to Punjab government Hassan Khawar, speaking at the occasion said that he had personally observed hospitality of Sindh during his visit. at Punjab is brother of Sindh and they were always with people of Sindh in times of difficulty, he said.

Hassan Khawar urged the incumbent PPP government to rise above the political objectives and take steps for welfare and development of masses like other provinces of Pakistan. He said that Naya Pakistan National Health Card was a hallmark initiative of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf government that has removed difference of poor and rich in health sector and now every citizen irrespective of his financial status could avail healthcare facilities at the same hospital.

The entire Pakistan is availing the facility but people of Sindh were deprived of facility of health card program due to arrogance of PPP government, Hassan Khawar said and stressed upon PPP leadership to remove obstacle in the regard and let the health card be issued in Sindh for benefit of masses.

He said that Punjab government will arrange for people of Sindh visits of different areas of Punjab for promotion of harmony among residents of both of the provinces. Haleem Adil Sheikh speaking at the occasion said that PPP was ruling in Sindh for previous 14 years but people of Sindh were deprived of clean drinking water, health, education and other basic facilities and growth was visible only in corruption.

He said that Sindh Police has been politicized while law and order situation in the province was deplorable. There was not a single achievement on the credit of PPP and cities and towns of Sindh were ransacked.
