Rangers arrest six accused including three drug peddlers

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Tuesday claimed to have arrested six alleged criminals, including three drug peddlers, from different areas of the metropolis.

A statement issued by rangers spokesman said that the rangers conducted targeted raids in Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Awami Colony and detained three street criminals, Ismail, alias Lala, Sadam Hussain and Abduallah. The accused were stated to be involved in drug peddling.

Separately, a rangers team carried out raids in Garden and Memon Goth, and arrested three criminals, Sohail Saeed, Abdul Qadir and Mohammad Faraz. The rangers said that the arrested accused were involved in target killing, extortion and several other crimes.

The rangers also recovered weapons and drugs from their possession. The accused would be handed over to police for further legal formalities.
