KARACHI: Sindh Rangers’ Director General Major Gen Mohammad Saeed, officials and personnel attended the funeral prayer of the deceased paramilitary soldier, Abdul Rauf, at Headquarter Bhittai Rangers in Karachi on Tuesday.
It may be noted that two armed robbers opened fire at a 28-year-old rangers cop, Abdul Rauf, and a 33-year-old policeman, Umer Wahid, when they tried to offer them resistance during the robbery in Landhi No. 89 in the wee hours of Tuesday. The injured cops were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for treatment, where soldier Abdul Rauf succumbed to his injuries.
Taking notice of the incident, the IGP Sindh has sought a detailed report from SSP Korangi.
