Rs.300 million will spent over Sheikh Maltoon Town: Inayatullah

Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senior Minister for Local Government Inayatullah has said that Rs. 300 million will be spent over the construction, development and renovation of Sheikh Maltoon Town Mardan that included modern sewerage system, construction of roads, parks, cleanliness and provision of soft drinking water.

He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting regarding the development and construction of Sheikh Maltoon Town on Tuesday. Provincial Education Minister Mohammad Atif, MPA Zahid Durrani, DG, PDA Mohammad Saleem Hassan Watto, Project Director Tashfeen Haider and other concerned officers attended the meeting.

The meeting thread barely discussed the construction, rehabilitation, drainage system, provision of soft drinking water, construction and rehabilitation of parks, revenue, auction of accommodation and commercial plots at Sheikh Maltoon Town Mardan. KP Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education Mohammad Atif said that instead of erecting artificial plants for beautification of town, green and attractive natural plants should be grown in the town so that the people could enjoy the natural scenes.

He stressed to rehabilitate roads, parks and sewerage system in the town. Senior Minister for Local Government Inayatullah said that the provincial government was giving due consideration to develop Sheikh Maltoon Town Mardan. He said in the previous regimes, plots were auctioned for low rate.

He directed the concerned authorities to complete the on-going developmental projects in the town in the stipulated time so that a visible change could appear to people and a large number of people could also be benefited of the steps taken by the government for their welfare.
