KARACHI: Addtional Inspector General of Police Sindh Welfare, Ghulam Azfar Mahesar in a report on Sunday told Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh AD Khowaja that Rs 440 million from Benevolent Fund had been paid to the widows of 5,000 deceased policemen from December 2015 to December 2017.
The AIGP submitted the report on police’s welfare steps in which he told Khowaja that the aforementioned amount had been transferred to the widows’ accounts through online system so that they do not face any problem.
Khowaja praised the welfare branch for taking such steps and hoped that the welfare of the police employees would be continued.
