Rs10m relief goods handed to quake affectees

HARNAI:Ejazullah Khan, Director, Disaster Management, Al-Khidmat Foundation, Pakistan has said that earthquake affectees of district Harnai would not be left alone. Addressing a press conference at Harnai Press Club here on Tuesday, he said that after conducting survey of the collapsed structures and houses, all collapsed structures and houses would be constructed afresh.

He added that relief goods, including tents, medicines, food and ration amounting to Rs10 million, had been distributed amongst the earthquake affectees.

Khan said that maximum assistance would be extended to the earthquake affectees, adding that in the second phase, collapsed houses in District Harnai of Balochistan province would be constructed. On the occasion, Khair Muhmmad Tunio, Director, Disaster Management, Sindh and Engineer Jamil Ahmed Kurd were also present.
