DALBANDIN: Employees of Saindak Copper and Gold Company on Saturday staged a protest demonstration outside the administration block of Saindak Copper and Gold Company against restrictions imposed on the employees to stop the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.
Moreover, local women of Saindak also staged a protest sit-in on Sandak-Taftan road, demanding authorities of Saindak Copper and Gold Company to lift restrictions on employees of Saindak Copper and Gold Company imposed to curb the spread of novel corona virus.
According to reports, employees of Saindak Copper and Gold Company protested outside the administration block of Saindak Copper and Gold Company, demanding authorities to lift restrictions imposed on employees to curb the spread of novel corona virus. Separately, women of Saindak town in district Chagae of Balochistan province staged a protest sit-in on Saindak-Taftan road against restrictions imposed on the employees of Saindak Copper and Gold Company as preventative measures against the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.
Talking to media, including PPI, protesting employees of Saindak Copper and Gold Company said that despite administering two doses against COVID-19 pandemic, employees had been quarantined in one room by the authorities of Saindak Copper and Gold Company. “Neither any employee is permitted to meet guests nor is leave granted to the employees of company”, they added.
On the other hand, authorities of Saindak Copper and Gold Company were of the opinion that employees had been quarantined owing to the spread of COVID-19 pandemic, adding that all necessary facilities and proper healthcare facilities were being provided to the quarantined employees.
