KARACHI:Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday made amendment in a death sentence verdict of An Anti-terrorism Court (ATC) and transformed the death sentence in life-term.
A two-member bench of SHC heard the petition against the life sentence to an accused, Mairaj, and announced its decision on ATC’s verdict and changed the death sentence in life-term.
The ATC had awarded life sentence to Mairaj. The police stated that accused had killed one Asif Ali in 2013 and a case was registered against him at Sharafi Goth Police Station.
