Sindh assembly passes resolution against former head of MQM, other anti-Pakistan elements

Karachi: Sindh Assembly here on Wednesday passed a resolution against the former head of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) and other other anti-Pakistan elements, unanimously.

The resolution moved parliamentary party leader of MQM Pakistan chapter Syed Sardar Ahmed was supported by all other parliamentary parties in assembly, PPPP, PML-N, PML-Q and PTI.

The resolution said this house condemns in the strongest words the anti-Pakistan slogans and controversial and provocative speech of MQM founder Altaf Hussain from London against the solidarity and integrity of Pakistan to a hunger strike camp in front of Karachi Press Club on Monday, August 22, 2016 and resultant attacks on the media houses, especially ARY channel.

This house condemns any sort of crime, violence, terrorism, and anti-Pakistan slogans and activities carried out from any quarter and demands that stern action should be taken against the concerned persons as per the law and constitution.

This house expresses its complete solidarity the parliament, armed forces, media, judiciary and all democratic institution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
