Karachi: Aaliyan Mehmood produced another brilliant performance capturing a five-wicket haul helping Sindh record a convincing 38-run victory against Balochistan in Pepsi-PCB U-16 Pentangular T-20 Tournament 2018 at LCCA Ground in Lahore on Friday.
Sindh batted first in the match and put on board 153-8 in 20 overs. Mubashir Nawaz top scored for the side playing a slow 26-run inning, which came off 38 balls. Saim Ayub contributed 25 off just 18 balls. Aurangzaib picked three wickets for 21 runs.
In reply, Balochistan scored 115-8 in allotted 20 overs. Aurangzaib top scored for the side with 24 runs off 19 balls. Aaliyan Mehmood was the star performer of the day as he returned with impressive match figures of 5-20.
Meanwhile, at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Punjab defeated Federal Capital by 18 runs. Omer Eman (57 runs) and Khalil Ur Rehman (56 not out) batted well for the winners in the match.
