Karachi: Sindh U-16 team recorded a convincing 50-run triumph against KPK U-16 team in Pepsi-PCB U-16 Pentangular T-20 Tournament 2018 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Saturday.
Sindh U-16 batted first in the match and accumulated 155-9 in allotted 20 overs. SaimAyub batted well for the side scoring 65 off 49 balls. Saad Ali Asim contributed 30 runs. UsamaAlam picked two wickets for KPK U-16 team.
In its turn, KPK U-16 scored a paltry total of 105 runs before it was bundled out in 19.5 overs. Zain Khan top scored for the side with 33 runs. Kashif Ali captured three wickets. Meanwhile, AaliyanMerhmood, who picked 10 wickets in previous two matches, took two wickets this time. Mubashir Nawaz also picked two wickets.
Meanwhile, at LCCA Ground, Balochistan U-16 defeated Federal Capital U-16 by 22 runs. Aurangzeb played an unbeaten and whirlwind 44-run knock off 22 balls while MohammadAmmar captured four wickets for 20 runs for the winners in the match.
