Karachi: The 53rd meeting of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Congress will be held today (Thursday) in Islamabad.
The meeting was initially scheduled to be held on December 30 at Hotel One in Sukkur. But PHF announced that “due to prevailing and unavoidable circumstances, it has been decided to hold the meeting at Crown Plaza Hotel Islamabad.”
The venue of Sukkur was initially picked because of the 64th National Hockey Championship held in the interior Sindh city.
According to sources, some board members were reluctant to travel to Sukkur for the meeting. However, there was no official response to this query.
