KARACHI: Sindh Rangers claimed to have arrested eight alleged criminals, including a political party affiliated target killer, in different raids in the metropolis on Thursday.
A statement issued by ranger’s spokesman said that the Rangers conducted targeted raids in Garden area and detained a MQM-London’s target killer, Mohammad Rashid Ahmed alias Muna. He was stated to be involved in target killings and several other crimes.
Separately, Rangers carried out raids in Jamshed Quarters and Awami Colony and arrested four street criminals, Mohammad Amir Humza, Abid Hussain, Sultan Chandio and Jamil Ahmed.
Meanwhile, a rangers’ party conducted search operation in Jamshed Quarters, and detained three Afghan nationals, Salaam, Dawood Shah and Abdul Khaliq.
The rangers also claimed to have recovered weapons, drugs, and contrabands from their possession.
