Thatta:The members of Government School Teachers Association took out a rally here on Monday against the government for not approving them time scale, group insurance and promotions.
The protesters, led by association’s taluka president Khameeso Khan Shoro and general secretary Khan Mohammad, marched from the Government High School Thatta to local press club.
The teachers, carrying placards and banners, were chanting slogans against the government for not accepting their demands despite making promises time and again.
Speaking on the occasion, the leaders, Hamid Mughal, Khameeso Khan Shoro and Khan Mohammad said that despite keeping education department on top priority, the Sindh government was not approving their time scale, group insurance and promotions, which was a great injustice.
They warned to stage protest demonstration in front of Sindh Chief Minister’s House and Sindh Assembly in Karachi if their demands are not met.
