KHAIRPUR:Three bandits, who were brothers, were killed and three others injured in a shootout between two groups of dacoits in Bagirji Forest near Sukkur on Monday.
The shootout between Shafique and Jagan gangs took place in katcha area along Indus River within the jurisdiction of Bagirji police in which they carried out intense firing on each other as result, three bandits Qurban Ali Jatoi, Jagan alias Kashmir Jatoi and Bakhshan Jatoi were killed on the spot while three others, including Suleman and Shafique, were injured.
On information, Bagirji police reached the spot and shifted the bodies and injured to a Sukkur hospital for medico-legal formalities. Police have arrested a notorious criminal Schal Jatoi who was wanted to Sukkur, Khairpur and Shikarpur police in several heinous criminals.
