Three Karachiites killed, four injured in road mishap

THATTA: Three Karachiites were killed and four others injured in a road accident near Makkli Bypass on the outskirts of Thatta on Friday.

Three pilgrims were returning Karachi after visiting Shah Yaqeeq shrine near Chuhar Jamali in a van when it was hit by a Mazda pickup near Makli Bypass in village Gandra.

As a result, a boy Momin, woman Aasma and one other person Hamzo travelling in the van suffered serious injuries and died on the spot while four other persons, including Faisal, suffered serious injuries .

The bodies and injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Makkli for medico-legal formalities and treatment, respectively. Later, the injured were referred to Karachi for further treatment. Their health was stated to be serious.
