KARACHI:Three members of a family were injured when they offered resistance to armed dacoits who barged into their house at Baldia Town area of the metropolis in the wee hours of Sunday.
According to sources, unidentified armed broke into a house in Rais Goth of Baldia town and tried to hold the family hostage in a bid to deprive them of cash and other valuables. When male members of the family challenged the burglars they opened indiscriminate fire on them. As a result of firing three brothers, identified as Bilal, Muhammad Ali, and Yahya sustained bullet injuries. The injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment. Doctors said that the injured were in a stable condition.
