QUETTA: Islamophobia, crises in Afghanistan, issue of Palestine, Kashmir, promotion of science and technology in Islamic countries and establishment of Islamic Counselling Schools in Islamic countries would be discussed in the “Islamic Youth General Assembly” to be arranged by Organization of Islamic Youth (OIY) in Quetta city of Balochistan province during the month of March, 2022 in collaboration with Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Government of Balochistan.

These views were expressed by Hammad Khan Kakar, President, OIY while addressing the participants of Core Committee (CC) of OIY held here on Monday via video link. Kakar said that it was high time to create awareness amongst the youth of Islamic countries regarding Islamophobia, crises in Afghanistan, issue of Palestine, Kashmir and promotion of science and technology in Islamic countries.

He added that arrangements of Islamic Youth General Assembly was the joint venture of Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Government of Balochistan and OIY, adding that the said event in Pakistan would prove to be a game changer which would not only highlight the soft image of Pakistan and Balochistan, but would also be beneficial for forming public opinion regarding core issues being faced by Muslim umma, including Islamophobia, crises in Afghanistan, issue of Palestine, Kashmir, promotion of science and technology in Islamic countries. Meeting was also addressed by Maha Sardar, Secretary General, OIY, Anum Anwaar, Vice President OIY, Iqra and Shakeela.
