Train drivers end strike

Karachi: Protesting locomotive drivers of Pakistan Railways on Sunday evening ended their strike and resumed their duties.

They ended their strike after the assurance of holding talks to them to consider their demands including release of the arrested drivers, and increase in their allowances and perks. The talks are expected on Monday in the Pakistan Railways headquarters Lahore.

After the end of the strike of drivers, all passenger and cargo trains of the Pakistan Railways are now running as per their schedule.
