ISLAMABAD: A two-day blood donation camp was organized by the Patients’ Welfare Association at Dow Medical College on Wednesday and Thursday, February 23rd and 24th.

Volunteers from Dow Medical College participated in the camp with great enthusiasm, and people from all walks of life donated blood, including college professors, administrators, and students. The Vice Chancellor of Dow University of Health Sciences Prof. Dr Saeed Qureshi, Principal Dow Medical College Prof. Dr Saba Sohail, MS Civil Hospital Prof. Dr Noor M. Soomro also attended the Blood Camp, appreciating the efforts of the volunteers and urging them to serve the people.

It should be noted that the Patients Welfare Association, Civil Hospital Karachi, is a non-governmental and a non-political student-run organization established since 1979 under which patients coming to Civil Hospital from all over the city are provided with safe and screened blood, medicine and treatment of thalassemia absolutely free of cost.
