Two former PML MPAs join PPP at Foundation Day ceremony

LAHORE: Two former PML Punjab MPAs and Parliamentary Secretary Lubna Tariq and her husband, also former MPA Malik Tariq Muslim from South Punjab joined Pakistan Peoples Party at Bilawal House, Lahore on Friday at the party’s 49th Foundation Day celebrations.

On Friday, the PPP South Punjab is holding workers conference at Bilawal House, Lahore where Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, Provincial President Makhdoom Ahmed Mahmood, General Secretary Natasha Daultana, Information Secretary Shaukat Basra and other leaders and workers from South Punjab will address the conference.

Joining the PPP, former MPAs from Rahim Yar Khan Mrs Lubna Tariq and Malik Tariq Muslim said they were inspired by the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as he has the sagacity, capacity and legacy to unite all the federating units into a well-integrated democratic, peaceful and prosperous society. They predicted the PPP under the command of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will sweep 2018 general elections across the country including both South and Central Punjab.
